Zimbabwe A and Ireland A will return to Harare Sports Club for the second four-day match from 12 to 15 November as both sides continue their preparations for a demanding seven-match series designed to test emerging talent and strengthen their respective player pools.
The second four-day encounter will follow the opening match, scheduled for 5 to 8 November, before the two teams turn their attention to the one-day format in the second half of the tour.
The series, confirmed by Zimbabwe Cricket, will run from 5 to 27 November, providing players on the fringes of the senior national teams with a valuable opportunity to press their claims for higher honours.
Both four-day matches will be staged at Harare Sports Club. The focus will then shift to limited-overs cricket, with Takashinga Cricket Club hosting the first three one-day matches on 18, 20 and 22 November.

For Zimbabwe, the assignment represents an important opportunity to assess the depth of talent available for future international commitments, particularly as players seek to demonstrate their readiness for the demands of senior cricket.
Zimbabwe Cricket managing director Givemore Makoni said A-team tours remained central to the country's efforts to build a stronger and more competitive player base.
“These tours are an important part of building the depth and quality we need in Zimbabwe cricket,” Makoni said.
He added that the matches would allow players pushing for national selection to measure themselves against international opposition and prove their readiness for the next level.
