Four robbers got away with US$4 000 after they raided House of Christ church in GlenNorah A, Harare on Tuesday.
They were armed with iron bars and wearing balaclavas.
The suspects attacked a security guard and the two family members who leave at the church cottage before stealing US4 000 cash which was in a safe and a cellphone.
They used explosives to blow the safe to steal the money.
The police in Harare are appealing for information which may help in finding the suspects and investigation.
Meanwhile, the police are investigating a case of murder in which Egnes Mandenge was found dead with multiple wounds in the head in Ngezi on August 19, 2024.
