The Zimbabwe Republic Police has refuted rumours that former CID member-turned-fugitive, Jaison Muvevi, has been acquitted of any charges.
There have been reports doing rounds in some media outlets to the effect that Muvevi had been cleared of some murder-related charges.
Said police in a statement released Tuesday:
“The ZRP reiterates that Jaison Muvevi is facing four counts of murder and four counts of attempted murder. He has not been acquitted by the courts for any charges. His next remand date is 8th March 2023.”
