
Four people were killed and 12 others injured in a head-on collision along the Roy-Buffalo Range Road on Friday night.
The Zimbabwe Republic Police confirmed that the accident occurred at the 120-kilometre peg at around 8pm on August 28, 2026.
The crash involved a Toyota Hilux travelling towards Zaka with nine passengers and a Nissan AD Van travelling towards Chiredzi with five passengers.

The two vehicles collided head-on, resulting in four fatalities and injuries to 12 people.
Police said the bodies of the deceased were taken to Chiredzi General Hospital mortuary for post-mortem examinations.
The injured were also taken to hospital for medical attention.
