Chibuku Road to Fame, Zimbabwe's premier music talent competition, is back for its 25th anniversary, promising to be bigger and more exciting than ever before. This milestone event, a proud partnership between the Chibuku brand and the National Arts Council of Zimbabwe (NACZ), marks a quarter-century of nurturing local artistry and providing a platform for aspiring musicians to shine. The 2025 edition will operate under the theme, "25 Years of discovering talent."

In a move designed to elevate the competition, organizers have announced a change to the traditional provincial finals. This year, the events have been combined into six joint provincial finals, each featuring a total of 20 groups. The results for the first province to perform will be announced before the next provincial performances begin, building suspense and keeping fans on the edge of their seats. From each of the six joint finals, three winners will be chosen to move on to the next stage.

The top performers from these provincial competitions will then earn their spot in the National Grand Finale, where the country's top ten musical acts will compete for the ultimate title. The competition's run from August 23 to October 4, 2025, ensures a dynamic and action-packed period for both participants and fans.

"This platform is not only about the music, but is built in a backbone of uplifting the arts while empowering upcoming artists," organizers stated in a release. Chibuku Road to Fame has long been recognized as a critical force in the Zimbabwean music industry, offering aspiring artists not just a chance at stardom, but a pathway to a professional career.

As the country's leading music talent search, the competition is a unique way for the Chibuku brand to connect with its consumers, bringing communities together through the shared love of music.
