A 50-year-old Chinhoyi man, Bwanali Bwanado, is on the run after murdering his wife Chioneso Ephraim, 41, at a house in Gadzema yesterday.
Police confirmed on X that Bwanado stabbed Chioneso to death with an Okapi knife after finding her sitting on their matrimonial bed with her boyfriend.
Meanwhile in Harare, a 44-year-old man Malvern Paul was murdered by Malvern Batsirai and six others at Gail Court, corner 8th Street and Samora Machel Avenue on Sunday.
The case was also confirmed on X wall by the police.
“Police in Harare are investigating a case of murder in which Malvern Paul, 44, died after being attacked with bricks and empty beer bottles by Malvern Batsirai (34) and six other suspects at Gail Court, corner 8th Street and Samora Machel Avenue on 05/11/23.”
Paul had tried to refrain Batsirai from assaulting his girlfriend.
Police has since arrested Batsitrai in connection with the case. Six suspects who include Gaza Cartel, Dhadza and Tsomutsomu are on the run.
