Zimdancehall musician Killer T has apologised to Ambassador Kwame Tapiwa Muzawazi, the Muzawazi family and the people of Zimbabwe following his arrest over alleged cyberbullying and threatening voice notes.
The musician, whose real name is Kelvin Kusikwenyu, admitted sending threatening, insulting and disrespectful voice notes to Muzawazi via WhatsApp on October 4, 2026.
“I wish to unreservedly apologize to Ambassador Kwame Tapiwa Muzawazi as a person, the entire Muzawazi family and every Zimbabwean for my bad conduct,” Killer T said.
“I admit to have sent Ambassador Muzawazi threatening, disrespectful and insulting words I cannot type here. I sent them through audio voice notes to his phone via WhatsApp platform on 4 October 2026.”
Killer T said he was deeply shocked after listening to the recordings and reflecting on what he had said.
“I was shocked and could not even believe I had said those bad distressful words and threats, when I listened to the voice notes,” he said.

The apology comes after Killer T was arrested and detained at Malbereign Police Station in Harare following a complaint reportedly lodged by members of the Muzawazi family.
The case follows the death of 39-year-old Malcom Muzawazi, who was killed on September 24 after allegedly being attacked by four dogs in Southerton, Harare. Killer T had reportedly taken the side of the dog owner, leading to tensions between him and members of the deceased’s family.
The voice notes allegedly contained insults, vulgar language and threats directed at members of the Muzawazi family.
Killer T said his actions had not only affected the people he allegedly targeted but had also damaged his own reputation.
“I have not only failed myself, I have failed and tarnished my name and brand. I have also been a very bad example to all youths who look up to me as a musician and celebrity in Zimbabwe,” he said.
“I have failed my family and everyone who believed in me. PLEASE FORGIVE ME.”
