
Fuel prices have remained broadly stable, with diesel holding at US$1.95 per litre, while blended petrol (E20) has increased by three cents to US$1.99 per litre, according to the latest Zimbabwe Energy Regulatory Authority (ZERA) price schedule effective September 9, 2026.

In local currency, diesel is now capped at ZiG52.10 per litre, while E20 petrol is pegged at ZiG53.06 per litre.
The diesel price remains at the level reached after an eight-cent increase in July, when ZERA raised it from US$1.87 to US$1.95 per litre. Petrol has similarly increased from the July price of US$1.96 to US$1.99 per litre.
