Sabi Gold Target Vital Points in Difficult Away Fixture

Sabi Gold Mine FC head coach Khumbulani Msendeki says his side remains focused on securing crucial points as they prepare for a demanding away clash in the Central Region Soccer League.

The Zvishavane-based outfit has enjoyed an encouraging start to life in the division, winning two of their opening three matches and losing only once in their debut campaign. Despite the positive beginning, Msendeki believes the team still needs to sharpen its performance, particularly in front of goal.

“We need to pick up as many points as we can in the first round to solidify our survival since it is our first year in the league,” said Msendeki. “We also need to utilise the chances that come our way.”

Msendeki added that consistency and discipline will be key as the club seeks to establish itself in the league and avoid early-season complacency.
