Zimbabwe will in October play host to one of the continent’s most significant insurance gatherings, the 29th Reinsurance Forum of the African Insurance Organisation.

The event is scheduled for October 11–15, 2025, at the Rainbow Towers Hotel and International Conference Centre in Harare.

Running under the theme “Growth for the African Reinsurance Industry – Navigating Global Volatility and Growing Risk Complexity”, the forum will bring together reinsurers, insurers, regulators, and policymakers from across Africa and beyond.

The meeting comes at a critical time for the industry, as climate change, geopolitical tensions, and evolving global risks continue to reshape the reinsurance landscape. Stakeholders are expected to exchange ideas and craft solutions to strengthen the sector’s resilience.
