RTG to Hold AGM to Confirm US$2.5M Dividend

Rainbow Tourism Group Limited (RTG) has announced that it will hold its 26th Annual General Meeting (AGM) on September 8, 2025, at the Rainbow Towers Hotel and Conference Centre in Harare.

According to the notice to shareholders, the meeting will, among other agenda items, confirm the payment of a total dividend of US$2.5 million for the financial year ended December 31, 2024. This comprises an interim dividend of US$1 million declared in October 2024, and a second and final dividend of US$1.5 million declared in March 2025.

Shareholders will also receive and adopt the company’s audited financial statements and reports of directors and auditors, as well as consider approval of directors’ fees for the year.

The AGM will further deliberate on the election and re-election of board members, including the confirmation of Messrs. Kumbirai Gundani and Chipo Mafunga, who were co-opted during the year, and the re-election of Messrs. Langton Mabhanga and Kenzias Chibota, who retire by rotation but are eligible for reappointment.

Other business includes adoption of the Audit Committee’s report, the Board’s corporate governance report, and the reappointment of BDO Zimbabwe Chartered Accountants as the company’s auditors.

The meeting notice also confirmed that the 2024 Annual Report is available on the company’s website for shareholders.
