As the Northern Region Soccer League concludes its 2024 season today, a thrilling final day of action is set to unfold. However, a cloud of uncertainty hangs over the proceedings due to Karoi United's appeal to ZIFA against the NRSL's decision to award Scottland a 3-0 victory in their abandoned match.

The appeal has the potential to disrupt the league's climax, with the fate of the title and Premiership promotion spot hanging in the balance. Despite the looming threat, Scottland and MWOS are set to face off in a nail-biting battle, with both teams eager to secure the sole ticket to the top flight.

The league has been a rollercoaster of emotions, with twists and turns keeping fans on the edge of their seats. Karoi United's appeal, lodged earlier this week, had threatened to disrupt the season's climax. However, their sudden withdrawal has cleared the path for the title decider to proceed as planned.

Scottland, currently leading the league by two points, faces a tough test against in-form Black Mambas at Rufaro Stadium. A victory would secure their historic promotion to the Premiership. However, a draw or loss could open the door for MWOS to snatch the title.

MWOS, with a superior goal difference, hosts Agama at Ngoni Stadium in Norton. Their fate hinges on the outcome of the Scottland-Mambas match. If Scottland falters, MWOS could capitalize on the opportunity and claim the coveted Premiership spot.
