President Mnangagwa to attend Italy-Africa Summit

President Emmerson Mnangagwa has left the country for Italy where he will join other African heads of state for the Italy -Africa Summit.

With the world focusing on investing in African countries and seeking more ways of partnering with companies on the continent, Italy is also set to unveil its plan to work with the continent this week at the Italy-Africa Summit.

Over 50 delegations from Africa as well as international organisations from the European Union are expected to attend the summit.

According to media reports, Italy is seeking a non-predatory approach as it seeks partnership with Africa.

The European country is seeking partnership with different countries in various sectors, including energy, health and education.

For Zimbabwe, energy is key as the country seeks to grow its economy and boost food security.
