Zimbabwe Electricity Transmission and Distribution Company has announced that there will a five-hour power supply interruption in Chitungwiza on Tuesday the 25th of October 2022 due to critical maintenance works.
In a notice, ZETDC said the affected areas are Surface Wilmar, Chitungwiza Central Hospital, Citimed Chitungwiza Hospital, Zengeza 1, 2, 3, 4 and 5, including Extensions, St Mary's, Manyame Park, Parts of Unit J and surrounding areas.
The power cut will be from 09:00 to 14:00 hrs and ZETDC advises customers are advised to treat all circuits as LIVE during this period as power may be restored without notice.
ZETDC has also announced that power outages in Mabvuku, Chizhanje area, are due to vandalism.
