Patience Muchemwa
A 32-year-old man, Elton Titus Munezi, of Runyararo Street, Dzivaresekwa in Harare appeared before magistrate Dennis Mangosi at the Harare Magistrates' Courts accused of robbery.
The State, through prosecutor Zebediah Bofu, told the court that on September 1 at around 0200hours, Munezi approached Talent Sibanda of Kuwadzana phase 3 and hit him on the face several times and head-butted him once on the nose.
He then stole a Tecno Sparks 8c cellphone from Sibanda and ran away.
Munezi was arrested on September 19 at around 08:30hours.
The value of property stolen is US$137 and US$120 was recovered.
Munezi is appearing in court today for bail application.
