Zimbabwe School Examinations Council has announced the local currency rates for candidates who missed the April 14 deadlines and still wish to sit for November Ordinary and Advanced Level examinations this year.
In a statement issued this weekend, Zimsec said there is no late payment penalty and that the bank rate will be set at ZWL$1 207 to US$1 with the option to pay in USD.
“Payments for the examinations should not be paid directly into the Zimsec accounts by individual parents. Parents/candidates should make the payments to the school or centre of registration for forward remission to Zimsec,”
The late registration window runs from May 8 to May 12.
Zimsec has previously stated that no new centres will be registered in this window which is only open to individual candidates at registered centres.
