Two men who were released from prison recently have been arrested after breaking into a Jacaranda suburb house in Gwanda and stealing property worth over US$1 000.

Gwanda police arrested Elias Chidanwa, 24, and Lazarus Chidanwa, 40, and recovered the stolen property at the suspects’ home.
Police confirmed the incident on their official Twitter handle, saying: “The arrest led to the recovery of the stolen property at the suspects’ home. Investigations by the police revealed that the suspects were recently released from prison.”
