Herentals Queens have emerged as the best-represented club in the provisional Zimbabwe Mighty Warriors squad announced for the Los Angeles 2028 Olympic Games qualifiers, with seven players receiving national team call-ups.
The dominance is evident across all areas of the squad, with Herentals players selected in the goalkeeping, defensive, midfield and attacking departments.
The selection underlines the significant contribution Herentals Queens continue to make to the women’s national team, with players from the club occupying key positions as Zimbabwe prepares for the Olympic qualifying campaign.
The Mighty Warriors squad, unveiled under head coach Stella Gotal, also features players from Black Rhinos Queens, Platinum Royals, Chapungu Queens, Maccabi Horon, Nsingizini Hotspurs, Ladies Young Achievers and other clubs.
Black Rhinos Queens have the second-highest representation, with four players named in the provisional squad.
