PSL Slaps Hardrock, Dynamos and CEO with US$25K in Fines

The Premier Soccer League (PSL) has delivered its disciplinary judgment following the abandoned Matchday 14 fixture between Hardrock FC and Dynamos FC played on 24 May 2026 at Chahwanda Stadium.

The disciplinary committee found both clubs guilty of causing the abandonment of the match, pitch invasion, violence, improper conduct, and disrupting the orderly conduct of the fixture.

Sanctions Against Hardrock FC

Fine: US$10,000, with US$2,000 suspended on condition that the club commits no similar offence in the future.

Behind Closed Doors: The club must play one home match without spectators.

Security Requirement: Hardrock FC must submit a revised Match Security Management Plan to the PSL Chief Executive Officer within 30 days.

Specific Finding: The club was found to have failed to provide adequate security as the home team.

Sanctions Against Dynamos FC

Fine: US$10,000.

Findings: Guilty of disorderly conduct, pitch invasion, and violent behaviour.

Penalty: Suspended from all football-related activities for the remainder of the 2026 season and fined US$5,000.

Match Directive

The PSL ordered that the remaining minutes of the abandoned match be played behind closed doors at a neutral venue, in accordance with PSL protocols.
