PSL Summons Hardrock FC and Dynamos FC Over Crowd Violence

The Premier Soccer League  has summoned Hardrock FC, Dynamos FC, and Hardrock FC Chief Executive Officer Kudzanai Hove to appear before the league’s Disciplinary Committee following crowd disturbances that led to the abandonment of their Castle Lager PSL fixture at Chahwanda Stadium on May 24, 2026.

PSL confirmed that both clubs are facing charges for allegedly breaching league rules and regulations after violence erupted during the match. The incidents reportedly included pitch invasion, disruption of the game, acts of violence, and malicious damage to property.

“The clubs stand accused of causing the abandonment of the match, disturbing the normal proceedings of a match, pitch invasion, acts of violence and malicious damage to property,” the PSL said in the statement.

Hardrock FC has also been charged separately for allegedly failing to provide adequate security during the match. Meanwhile, CEO Kudzanai Hove has been individually cited for disorderly conduct, pitch invasion, and violent behaviour.

 

The disciplinary hearing is scheduled to take place at the PSL offices on June 9, 2026, at 5:30 PM.
