Friend Joins Zimbabwe Camp Ahead of Bangladesh Series

Zimbabwe Cricket has brought in former South African first-class cricketer Quinton Friend as a consultant bowling coach ahead of the national team’s home Test and limited-overs series against Bangladesh scheduled for June.

Friend is currently working with the Zimbabwe senior men’s side at a training camp taking place in Harare under Head Coach Justin Sammons, as preparations for the crucial international assignments gather momentum.

The former fast-medium bowler enjoyed a successful 16-year first-class career in South Africa before moving into coaching. He now serves as head coach of the Hollywoodbets Dolphins franchise.
