Taurai Kandishaya has ventured into football administration after being appointed the new Secretary General of Manica Diamonds FC at a time the club is enduring a difficult 2026 Premier Soccer League campaign.
The Mutare-based side confirmed the appointment through an official statement welcoming Kandishaya into the club’s leadership structure.
“We are pleased to announce the appointment of Mr. Taurai Kandishaya as the new Secretary General of Manica Diamonds FC. He brings dedication, leadership, and a strong commitment to the growth and success of the club,” said Manica Diamonds.

The club added that it was looking forward to his contribution towards strengthening administration and supporting the team’s progress.
Kandishaya, who is known for his involvement in youth leadership structures, now enters football administration for the first time through the Premier Soccer League side.
His appointment comes during a challenging season for Manica Diamonds, who have struggled for form in the 2026 Castle Lager Premier Soccer League campaign.
Recent league standings placed the club near the bottom of the table after a poor run of results that included several defeats and few goals scored.
