Man Utd Billionaire: ‘I Love Zimbabwe’

Sir Jim Ratcliffe

“That’s why I love Zimbabwe,” British billionaire and Manchester United co-owner Sir Jim Ratcliffe has declared after being spotted in Victoria Falls, where he praised the country’s breathtaking scenery, friendly people, excellent coffee and unique golfing experience.

Ratcliffe said the golf course stood out for its magnificent trees, scenic surroundings and tranquil atmosphere, while the presence of wildlife, including impala, warthogs and bushbuck, made the experience particularly special.

“The nice thing about golf is it takes you to some really interesting places, some really nice courses, but this is very special because the trees are magnificent and I love nature and trees, those types of things, you know, so the scenery was magnificent,” he said.

The billionaire also praised the quality of coffee and the hospitality he experienced during his visit, saying the warm reception had contributed to his positive impression of Zimbabwe.

“The coffee is good, in fact the coffee is excellent here actually and again friendly faces everywhere so yeah, the hospitality has been excellent. Yeah, all right, that’s why I love Zimbabwe,” Ratcliffe said.
