Brian Nandana Found Dead After Harare Missing Case

Police in Harare are investigating the killing of  a man identified as Brian Nandana, who went missing in the early hours of Thursday after reportedly completing an inDrive trip around 3am.

According to preliminary reports, Nandana was later found dead after a search operation led investigators to a secluded area in Warren Park. Authorities say the discovery followed the arrest of a suspect believed to be a close acquaintance of the deceased.

Unconfirmed reports suggest that the suspect had been circulating fabricated audio messages in an apparent attempt to mislead people and cover his movements prior to his arrest. Police have not yet publicly confirmed these claims.

Investigations are ongoing, with authorities also examining allegations circulating on social media suggesting the motive may be linked to ritual practices. Police have urged the public to avoid speculation as they work to establish the exact circumstances surrounding the killing.

The incident has sent shockwaves through the community, particularly given that Nandana was last seen alive shortly after completing what appeared to be a routine late-night trip.

Further details are expected as the investigation progresses.
