The pair produced 19 runs off a single over bowled by Abdullah Ahmadzai, with both clearing the ropes in spectacular fashion. Raza reached his half-century from just 28 balls, showcasing his trademark power-hitting. However, his innings ended on 51 when a paddle sweep ricocheted off his glove, pad, and onto the stumps, leaving Zimbabwe at 104 for three in the 11th over.
Bennett continued his composed knock, striking 47 off 31 balls, before falling shortly after. With the score at 126 for four after 13 overs, Zimbabwe’s hopes rested on Wesley Madhevere Burl. The left-hander responded with breathtaking flair, launching five sixes in a rapid 37 off just 15 deliveries. Zimbabwe reached 151 after 15 overs, putting themselves in contention for a memorable chase.
