This Friday, October 10, Irvine’s celebrated the 29th Anniversary of World Egg Day at the Danhiko Project in Harare. Every year, the poultry company commemorates this special day through donations, and this year they chose to spend the day with students at Danhiko.
For the past 10 years, Irvine’s has consistently supported the Danhiko Project with donations of eggs and chickens, cementing a relationship that goes beyond business into community upliftment.
Speaking during the handover ceremony, Witness Magulula, Director of the Danhiko Project, expressed his gratitude:
“We cherish this moment together with our students and the Irvine’s team. We are thankful for the consistent donations that continue to make a difference in the lives of our students.”
This year’s celebrations saw 3,600 eggs donated to the institution. Students at Danhiko showcased their appreciation through vibrant performances, including poetry, songs, and traditional dances dedicated to Irvine’s.
