Delta Appoints Kanhukamwe As Board Director

Delta Corporation Limited announced the appointment of Professor Engineer Quinton Kanhukamwe as a non-executive director, effective 1 July 2025.

The appointment was confirmed by Delta board chairman Mr Todd Moyo, who said “The Board of Directors welcomes Prof. Engr. Kanhukamwe to the Company and looks forward to his contribution.”

Prof Kanhukamwe is currently the Vice Chancellor of the Harare Institute of Technology and brings over three decades of experience in higher education. He previously served as Faculty Dean and Director of the Techno Park at the National University of Science and Technology (NUST).

He holds a PhD in Mechanical Engineering, an MSc in Metallurgical Engineering, an IIEP Certificate in Higher Education Management, and a Certificate in University Management.

He also chairs the Southern African Regional Universities Association (SARUA) Board and has led initiatives such as the Zimbabwe Research Network (ZimREN). A prolific academic, Kanhukamwe has published widely in his field.

He is a two-time recipient of the Presidential CEO of the Year award for 2022 and 2023 and has served on numerous boards, including the Marondera State University Foundation Committee, UNIDO Cleaner Production, NAMACO, the Zimbabwe Institute of Engineers (ZIE), UDCORP, the Engineering Council of Zimbabwe (ECZ), and as Board Chairman of ZUPCO. He is also a former board member of the Association of African Universities (AAU).
