A senior Dunamis Foods Company employee has been taken to court on accusations of stealing property worth US$7 399.
Shenece Artwell, 34, appeared before magistrate Dennis Mangosi at the Harare Magistrates' Courts charged with theft of trust property.
The State, through prosecutor Thomas Chanakira, alleges that from the period between May and July 17, 2023, at Dunamis Foods Company located in the Tynwald South Industries, Artwell, allegedly stole US$4 399 which was entrusted to her by the company which was meant to pay other workers.
She also allegedly took property worth US$3 000 and ran away.
As a result, the complainant allegedly suffered a prejudice of US$7 399.
Mangosi ordered Shenece to appear in court today for bail ruling.
