Jaireh Junior School offers, nursery and broad-based tuition

The Jaireh Junior School, located in Manyame Park, Chitungwiza offers nursery and broad-based education to different age groups from six-month-old toddlers and aims to ultimately offer Advanced Level classes.

This was revealed during the Parents Fun Day event at the school on Saturday.

Jaireh Junior School Principal and Director, Angeline Mutize Matereke said: “We offer care for young children and Juniors, all in line with the new curriculum. We also have sports such as tennis. Since we are still new, we started with intellectual sports such as chess. We have visited other schools for competitions. This year, we have been to Twin Rivers, Getway, Tiny Toes and Hartmann House among others. We have been invited to this year’s Harare Olympiad at Getway where we will compete with other top schools.

“We have also introduced our learners to cricket so that at least they are all-rounders when they leave. We are a Christian school so, we teach them good behaviour, so that they are good children. We groom them socially in short.

“In terms of the infants, that is those up to Grade 3, we give them food here.

“Our fees are affordable with flexible payment terms for parents who may not be able to pay the full term’s fees,” said Mutize Matereke.

The principal said that they are planning big in terms of growth, depending on how much land they will get. “We hope to grow big, by the grace of God. We expect to build as soon as we get land from council. Our focus would be to have top-notch sports fields.
