Overloading is a common problem with Mshika-shika, as operators often prioritise profits over safety concerns.

“Mshika-shika” is a colloquial term used in Zimbabwe to refer to illegally operated commuter omnibuses and other small vehicles that transport passengers in urban areas.

Overloading can cause accidents and injuries, especially when these vehicles are involved in collisions or other accidents.
