The Sports and Recreation Commission has sent congratulatory message to Rachel O’Donoghue for winning a Gold medal at the South Africa Youth Championships held at Maselspoort, South Africa on February 26, 2023.
The SRC had wished the best of luck to the Youth team that represented Zimbabwe at the SA Youth Championships.

The Zimbabwe team was also represented by 2 U19 Junior Elite athletes competing in the Africa Triathlon Junior Cup Event.
The duo will use the Bloemfontein event to prepare for the 2023 Africa Triathlon Junior Cup to be held in Port Elizabeth in March, which is an important qualifying event for possible selection to represent Zimbabwe at the Africa Triathlon Championships in Egypt in October.
The Zimbabwe team, which had 13 participants, was accompanied by coach Pamela Fulton and her assistant Marcel Paulser.
