A Mutare man who faked a road traffic accident so he could claim insurance from Old Mutual has been granted ZWL300 000 bail by Harare magistrate Dennis Mangosi.
The accused, Munyaradzi Ramehwa of Mutare recently appeared in court facing fraud charges.
He is accused of insuring an already damaged motor vehicle after staging a road traffic accident.
He allegedly went on to claim US$90 000 cash from Old Mutual.
He will be back in court on March 30 for his routine remand.
