Popular Zim urban grooves outfit, Xtra Large, is expected to perform in the United Kingdom next month courtesy of Kay Cie from Wamambo Holdings.

Speaking to Zimbabwe Now, Xtra Large, frontman Jimmie “Swagga Jim” Mangezi said their group is expected to grace the Zimbabwe British Entertainment Awards ceremony slated for March 4, 2023.

“We are happy that we have been honoured to perform in the UK on this ceremony. I hope that we will be able to take people down the memory lane as some of the people there used to listen to our music during our prime time,” he said.

Swagger Jim said he is hoping that people in the UK will be happy to see them performing together as Xtra Large as they have managed to maintain consistency.

“Most of the groups that we started with and that came up during our prime time parted ways in fortunate and unfortunate ways but we are still there together,” he added.

Extra Large is an Urban Grooves music group of two members, Jimmy Mangezi and Norman Manwere.

They are mostly known for the songs Uri Roja and Wafa Wanaka. The duo performed Uri Roja with Judah E.

Extra Large have reportedly released more than 10 albums.
