First Mutual Holdings Appoints Dulcie Kandwe as Group Company Secretary

First Mutual Holdings Limited has appointed Dulcie Kandwe as its Group Company Secretary, effective August 1, 2026, following the retirement of outgoing company secretary Sheila Lorimer.

The insurance and financial services group announced the appointment in a notice to shareholders, saying Kandwe brings more than 18 years of experience in corporate law, company secretarial practice, corporate governance and regulatory compliance.

Kandwe holds a Bachelor of Laws (Honours) degree and a Master of Business Administration degree from the University of Zimbabwe.

She joined First Mutual Holdings in 2019 as Company Secretary for First Mutual Properties, a subsidiary of the group, before being appointed Deputy Group Company Secretary in 2022.

Prior to joining First Mutual, Kandwe served as a Legal Manager at CBZ Holdings Limited.

Her appointment comes as Lorimer formally retires from the Group Company Secretary position.

The First Mutual Holdings board congratulated Kandwe on her appointment and expressed its appreciation to Lorimer for her service and contribution to the company.

The board also wished Lorimer a fulfilling retirement.
