The scoring problems at Caps United have become increasingly difficult to ignore, with the team failing to find the net in consecutive matches and a clear pattern emerging: without Ishmael Wadi, there are no goals.
In back to back goalless draws against Chicken Inn and Agama FC, Caps United struggled to create clear-cut chances, leaving fans frustrated and questioning the team’s attacking structure. The absence of Ishmael Wadi has been particularly felt, with supporters pointing to his decisive impact earlier in the season.
Wadi’s influence was highlighted in the previous match he featured in, when he scored a late winner against ZPC Kariba, a moment that briefly kept Caps United in strong contention at the top of the table. Since then, however, the team has gone two full matches without a goal.
The slump has seen Caps United fall behind league leaders Scottland FC by four points, intensifying pressure on the squad as the title race tightens.
