Dynamos Could Receive New Team Bus if They Win Harare Derby

Dynamos  could be in line for a major boost off the pitch if they manage to defeat rivals CAPS United F.C. in the upcoming Harare Derby, following a pledge by businessman Wicknell Chivayo.

The possibility emerged after a Dynamos supporter appealed directly to Chivayo, saying, “Like you said you don’t know who is next to get new wheels, I am therefore kindly asking you to buy a bus for Dynamos if they manage to win the game.”

Chivayo responded without hesitation, fueling excitement among the Glamour Boys faithful. “I will buy them a bus if they manage to win the game,” he said.

While the pledge remains conditional, the prospect of a new bus has already generated buzz among supporters, who have long called for improved resources for the country’s most successful football club.

For years, Dynamos have relied on a bus sponsored by Nyaradzo Funeral Services. The vehicle has been a dependable asset during financially difficult periods, but it is now seen as outdated compared to the modern coaches used by other clubs.

Chivayo has previously made similar gestures in Zimbabwean football. Earlier this year, he donated a state-of-the-art team bus to Highlanders F.C., underlining his increasing influence in the local game.

The potential reward adds extra motivation ahead of the derby, with Dynamos aiming not only to claim bragging rights but also to slow down CAPS United’s charge at the top of the table. The result could also have implications for other contenders such as Scottland F.C..

Dynamos now have more than just three points to fight for. Victory could pave the way for a long-awaited upgrade one that would mark a new chapter in the club’s journey.
