
The Embassy of the Republic of Zimbabwe in Abu Dhabi issued an advisory to Zimbabwean tourists currently stranded in the United Arab Emirates following the suspension of flights.
In a notice dated 4 March 2026, the embassy called on affected nationals to urgently get in touch with officials and provide their travel details so assistance can be arranged.
The advisory, titled “Advisory Note to Zimbabwean Tourists in UAE Affected by Flight Suspensions,” states that the embassy is responding to recent developments that have disrupted travel plans for Zimbabweans visiting the UAE.

“In light of the recent developments, the Embassy of the Republic of Zimbabwe is advising Zimbabwean nationals who were visiting and are currently stranded in the United Arab Emirates and have been affected by the suspension of flights to urgently contact the Embassy,” the notice reads.
Embassy officials requested that those affected send their information via email to facilitate communication and possible assistance. According to the advisory, travelers must submit their full names, flight details and contact phone numbers when reaching out.
“The affected are required to submit their full names, flight details and contact phone numbers through the above email,” the embassy said.
