A Zimbabwe Republic Police operative who was driving without a driver's license hit two pedestrians resulting in both suffering serious injuries.
Kudakwashe Godzi, 32, of Hatcliff appeared at the Harare Magistrates' Court accused of negligent driving and driving without a driver's license. He violated Section 53 (2) and Section 6 (1)(a) respectively.
The Stat represented by Grace Mugocheke alleged that on January 10, 2023 at around 14:55 hours the unlicensed Godzi reversed a Nissan Caravan at high speed and hit two pedestrians.
The seriously injured pedestrians were taken to Parirenyatwa Hospital for medical treatment.
