Mazoe Rewards Loyalty as Schweppes Honours Winners at Magic Buy and Win Ceremony

Schweppes Zimbabwe Limited on Wednesday hosted a vibrant and memorable handover ceremony for the Mazoe Magic Buy and Win Promotion at the Harare Schweppes Beverage Centre.

The event marked the conclusion of a nationwide consumer appreciation campaign celebrating 95 years of the Mazoe brand, bringing together consumers, retailers, company executives and performers for a day of celebration and reflection on Mazoe’s enduring presence in Zimbabwean homes.

In his remarks, Managing Director Stanley Muchenje spoke proudly about Mazoe’s growth and heritage. He highlighted the brand’s expanding international footprint, noting that “we are now exporting it into the United Kingdom, the United States and across the region.”

He described the promotion as a gesture of gratitude, saying the campaign was designed “to thank our consumers for being with us for these ninety five years and the next ninety five.”

Muchenje outlined the scale of the campaign, explaining that “we had our team doing the tracks in all our three hundred and forty one centres. There was deployment of one thousand five hundred boxes across the country and we had up to nine thousand receipts.” He expressed appreciation for all participants, adding: “We value the relationship that we have… over a century of working together.”

He also urged consumers to remain vigilant against counterfeit drinks. “Buy Mazoe in recognised shops to avoid drinking fake products,” he warned, encouraging the public to report any suspicious beverages.
