Puma Energy Zimbabwe, a key player in the nation's downstream petroleum sector, officially launched Puma PRIS, the nation's first fully integrated, multi-tiered loyalty application for fuel and convenience services.
The launch is hailed as a significant step toward digitalizing the consumer experience, directly supporting the government's Smart Zimbabwe Master Plan and the National Development Strategy 1 by promoting cashless and secure transactions.
The PRIS platform moves beyond traditional fuel-based rewards, allowing customers to earn points on all purchases, including fuel and shop items, and redeem them for a wide array of services such as groceries, airtime, and meals across Puma Energy's retail network and partner outlets.

The initiative is a bold move to put customers "at the heart of our business," according to Puma Energy's Retail Manager for Zimbabwe, Belinda Chibwe. "It’s loyalty that goes beyond the pump, spreading benefits across households and communities," Chibwe stated, emphasizing that "the more you shop at Puma the better your rewards."
The launch in Zimbabwe marks the app's African debut, following its successful rollout in Latin America where it boasts over 1.7 million users. The timing capitalizes on Zimbabwe’s steadily increasing internet penetration to expand digital services.
Beyond rewards, the app acts as a financial management tool, offering users clear dashboards and analytical reports to monitor spending and track consumption patterns. This feature supports financial inclusion and empowers users to make more informed decisions.
Puma Energy is partnering with NMB Bank and Econet to build out the PRIS ecosystem, reinforcing a commitment to private-sector-led innovation that drives socio-economic growth. The application is accessible on both Android and iOS devices, ensuring broad usability for customers nationwide.
