Zimbabwe Join Pakistan and Sri Lanka for November T20I Tri-Series

 

Zimbabwe is set to take part in T20I tri-nation series alongside Pakistan and Sri Lanka in November, following Afghanistan’s withdrawal from the competition.

The tri-series, organized by the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB), will serve as crucial preparation for all three teams ahead of the upcoming ICC T20 World Cup.

The action begins on November 17 in Rawalpindi, where Pakistan will face Zimbabwe in the opening match. Rawalpindi will also host the second encounter on November 19, featuring Sri Lanka against Zimbabwe. The series will then shift to Lahore, where the remaining fixtures including the final will take place.

In Lahore, Pakistan will meet Sri Lanka on November 22, followed by a second face-off between Pakistan and Zimbabwe on November 23. The following days will see Sri Lanka play Zimbabwe on November 25, and Pakistan take on Sri Lanka again on November 27, before the final match concludes the series on November 29.

Zimbabwe’s inclusion comes at a significant time, as the team aims to build momentum and test combinations ahead of the World Cup.
