Mashonaland Squash is excited to announce the return of its long-cherished Prize Giving Ceremony this Friday, 10 October 2025, at the Old Georgians (OGs) Sports Club in Harare. The event, paused for several years, will celebrate the achievements of clubs and players across multiple leagues while reigniting a tradition that unites the squash community.
Teams that finish first, second, third, and fourth in their respective leagues will be recognized, with participation from clubs including Nomads Squash Club, St John’s Squash Club, Greendale Sports Club, Belgravia Squash Club, Harare Sports Club, Old Georgians, Old Hararian Squash Club, Princess Squash Club, ZB Bank, FBC Bank, AFC Bank, ZRP Harare, Police Racket Busters, and Highlands Squash Club.
The ceremony will follow the final league games, which feature ZB Squash against Greendale Sports Club and ZRP Harare against FBC in the 4th League, and Old Hararians against Belgravia B and Country Club against Belgravia C in the 3rd League. Matches across four courts are expected to create an electric atmosphere ahead of the prize-giving.

Mashonaland Squash Secretary Nishto Munyoro said, “Electrosales Hardware’s support has been transformative. Not only are we celebrating the achievements of our players this season, but we are also laying the foundation for sustained growth and development of squash across the province.”
The committee also expresses gratitude to club captains, including Mr. Chikati, Mr. Hwacha, Mr. Dave Boaler, Mr. Raynars, Mr. Jeper, Mr. Roy Jambo, Ahmed Hassan, Mr. Aiden Martin, and Mr. Malvin Mubure, whose dedication keeps the leagues thriving.
With over 80 players participating this season, the event promises to honor the hard work and commitment of the Mashonaland squash community.
