Bulawayo Chiefs 'win boost promotion Hopes

Bulawayo Chiefs kept their promotion hopes alive with a commanding 3-0 victory over Mainline at Chief Village in Bulawayo, tightening the race for a place in the Premier Soccer League.

The home side took control early in the game through a moment of brilliance from Farau Matare, who dribbled past three defenders before calmly slotting the ball past the goalkeeper to give Chiefs the lead. The second goal came when a dangerous cross into the box caused confusion for the Mainline goalkeeper, who mishandled the ball and turned it into his own net, extending the advantage for the hosts.
