The two notorious bouncers, Gideon Sanyangore and Blessing Kumunda, who were nabbed by the police this morning have been transferred from Borrowdale police station to CID Homicide where their case will be further looked into. They are expected to appear in court on Friday or Saturday.

CID Homicide is a specialized section of the Criminal Investigation Department under the Zimbabwe Republic Police which is primarily concerned with the efficient and effective management of serious crimes such as armed robbery, murder, kidnapping and theft or loss of firearms, ammunition and other related materials.

Sanyangore was filmed trying to stab some revellers at Pabloz Night Club in Borrowdale.

A police source confirmed to Zim Now that the duo has since been transferred to CID Homicide.

“The two bouncers have been transferred to CID Homicide, it is because Sanyangore had an okapi knife and it is regarded as a dangerous weapon,” revealed the source.

Meanwhile, Sanyangore has gone on social media to apologise for his deeds. Saying he was speaking from Borrowdale Police Station before reference to homicide, he said:

“Cdes, good morning. What has happened, happened, I now ask for your help. At the moment we're at Borrowdale trying to talk to Widzo so we may make amends,” he posted on Facebook.
