Zvishavane is set to mark a major milestone in Zimbabwe’s housing development drive as the Midlands Park Housing Project, a US$29 million investment, will be commissioned on September 15 by President Emmerson Mnangagwa.

The project will deliver 156 modern residential flats and 504 student apartments, providing safe and decent accommodation for residents and students in the mining town.

The development forms part of the government’s ambitious plan to deliver one million housing units by the end of 2025 in an effort to address the national housing backlog.
