The Seventh Day Adventist Church (SDA) is set to host a two-week Bible Seminar in Harare, bringing together thousands of people from within and beyond Zimbabwe's borders.

The seminar, organized by the church's North Zimbabwe Conference, will feature guest speaker Pastor Pavel Goia, who has traveled from the United States to share a message of hope with the community.

"The Bible says go ye therefore and preach, and that is what we are doing. We want to remind each other that there is still hope and we can live better lives," Pastor Goia said upon his arrival in Harare. He expressed his excitement about visiting Zimbabwe for the first time and looking forward to exploring the country's natural beauty, including Victoria Falls.

The seminar will not only focus on Bible teachings but also offer free medical services through mobile clinics in various communities. "There are going to be a lot of teachings, and what better time to bring these teachings to the people. A lot is happening, and people need hope, and that is really the intention of this seminar," said Pastor Marvin Muzanenhamo, Personal Ministers Director of the SDA North Zimbabwe Conference.

The seminar will cater to different demographics, with specific lessons for women, including topics on marriage and divorce. "There are a lot of lessons for women as well, particularly marriage and divorce, because Zimbabwe is amongst the top countries that have recorded high numbers in divorce cases, so we really need such topics," said Mrs. Florence Ziyambi, Committee Member of the Public Affairs and Religious Liberty of the Seventh Day Adventist Church.

In addition to the Bible teachings, the SDA church will offer free medical care to communities through mobile clinics, as part of its evangelism efforts. This initiative is part of the church's broader commitment to community development, which includes constructing clinics and schools, as well as empowering youths in various sectors, including agriculture.

Through this seminar and community outreach programs, the SDA church aims to bring hope and healing to the people of Zimbabwe, addressing both spiritual and physical needs. As Pastor Goia aptly put it, "I am happy to meet the people" of Zimbabwe, and the church looks forward to engaging with the community in a meaningful way.
