Ngezi Platinum Stars boss Leonard Musariri has upped the ante in the race to become the next Premier Soccer League chairman with the Harare businessman-cum-farmer becoming the first of the four candidates to lay down the gauntlet via a colourful manifesto.
In his bid for the top job, Musariri outlined his vision for the PSL, emphasizing unity, professionalism, and transparency. "Together we can and in the true spirit of Ubuntu: 'I am because of who you are'," he said, highlighting his commitment to collaborative leadership.
Musariri's manifesto focuses on commercialization, talent development, and enhancing the PSL-ZIFA relationship. He believes that football can be a powerful tool for economic growth and social change, and he aims to leverage his business experience to drive a paradigm shift in Zimbabwean football.
"With my experience in football, my aim is to develop and promote football in Zimbabwe, increasing participation, improving standards, and achieving success in international competitions," Musariri said.
