Junior players from Jadelove Football Academy are set to travel to China for a football training and competition tour after attending a send-off hosted by Chinese Ambassador Zhou Ding at the embassy in Harare.

Ambassador Zhou, a strong supporter of youth initiatives, encouraged the players to make the most of the opportunity both on and off the pitch.

The open day gave the young athletes a chance to explore Chinese culture and prepare for the tour, which offers rare exposure to Asia’s growing football infrastructure and talent development systems.

The visit will expose the young athletes to Asia’s fast-developing football scene, where China is investing heavily in youth talent and international sports exchange.

China has been investing heavily in grassroots football, with a long-term vision to become a global powerhouse—creating opportunities for international collaborations and young African talent to gain international experience.
