Moyo Announces New NSSA Board

The Minister of Public Service, Labour, and Social Welfare, Honorable Edgar Moyo, has appointed a new National Social Security Authority Board with Mr. Christopher Dube as Chairman. 

Other members are Ms. Josephine Takundwa, Mr. Innocent Chinyama, Mr. Gilbert Takavarasha, Ms. Florence Mucha Taruvinga, Ms. Ruth Sibanda, Mrs. Mercy Faith Matongera, Mr. David Dzatsunga, and Mr. Walter Mupandawana.

Minister Moyo expressed confidence in the team's ability to steer NSSA towards improved service delivery and sustainable social protection programs. 

NSSA has faced multiple allegations of fraud and poor governance in the past.

No official statement was released regarding outgoing board members or specific mandates for the new appointments. The board is expected to commence duties immediately.
