Two Arrested for Fatal Stabbing in Ruwa

Two men have been arrested for allegedly fatally stabbing a man multiple times following a misunderstanding.

Fambisai Mutamiri ,24, and Panashe Sizabantu ,20, appeared at the Harare Magistrates' Courts facing murder charges.

According to the State, represented by prosecutor Takudzwa Jambawu, the incident occurred on June 8 at Samutoko Shops in Ruwa. The accused allegedly had a dispute with the now-deceased man, whose name was not disclosed in court.

The court heard that during the altercation, the two men began assaulting the victim while others stabbed him using an okapi knife. He was stabbed several times in the left side of his chest, on the left ribs, and once on the left leg.

The victim’s lifeless body was later found lying at the scene.
